  • Public and shared notebooks — open any notebook you have a link to, even one that isn't in your library. Export its sources, copy them into your own notebooks, and browse its Studio items. Notebooks you can only view stay read-only

    • The Notebooks page lists the public notebooks you've viewed so you can find them again

    • Removing one from that list asks first if it's tagged or in a collection

  • More tools right on the NotebookLM page — the toolbar now reads Export sources · Export Studio · Copy to notebook · More · Open

    • Export sources and Copy to notebook run on the page, no need to leave the tab. Export lets you pick which sources to include

    • Merge sources and Bulk rename are under More

    • Export Studio opens the extension's Studio tab, where every Studio type (audio, video, reports, quizzes…) can be downloaded

    • Generate and Find duplicates moved under More, which shows the duplicate count after a scan. Anything that leaves the page carries an arrow

    • When a notebook can't be loaded, the toolbar says why and offers Retry

  • Multiple accounts — a NotebookLM tab now acts as the account that tab is signed in as, even if the extension's active account is different. The inline Copy, Merge and Rename panels show which account they run as

  • Output language per account — the language switcher and Studio generation use the language of the account you're working as, and pick up changes made in NotebookLM's own settings

  • After adding sources

    • The success message links to the notebook: Open in NotebookLM or Open in NotebookLM Tools. If that notebook's tab is already open, you're taken there instead of opening another copy

    • The message stays until you choose "Add another page" or "Add more links"

    • From the right-click menu, the review tab takes you to the notebook once the add finishes, instead of closing and opening new tabs. If some links failed, it stays so you can see which ones

    • From the extension's notebook page, new sources appear right away and no extra tabs open

  • Failed sources — sources NotebookLM couldn't read now show a red Failed badge in the sources list, and the source count says how many failed. Adding one shows a clear warning. Sources still being processed show a Processing badge

  • Fixed: importing a list of links into a new notebook could create several notebooks instead of one. If none of the links could be added, you're now told

  • Navigation — Notebooks and Podcast switch pages in place when you're already in a full tab, and open one tab from the popup or sidepanel instead of a new one on every click

  • More reliable on the NotebookLM page — the extension's UI keeps showing up when NotebookLM changes its layout, with a floating "NLM Tools" button as a backup. Settings → General shows whether everything is attached

  • Public notebooks you tag or add to a collection now show up on the Tags and Collections pages instead of being flagged as missing

  • Free users: the NLMTools.com badge now shows an Unlicensed tag, and after using an inline tool a small upgrade reminder may appear on the page. It's labelled as from NotebookLM Tools, not Google, and shows at most once a day
