Tags and collections in list view — chips now appear on the NotebookLM home page in list view too, not just on the grid cards. List rows show up to three chips plus a "+N" pill so rows keep their height

The Tags / Collections bar no longer disappears — with no tags yet it shows "No tags yet" and a Create tag button instead of hiding, which used to leave you with no way to switch to Collections. An empty Collections view works the same way

What's the difference? — a new ⓘ button on the bar explains Tags (this extension's feature, private to this browser) vs Collections (NotebookLM's feature, synced to your Google account), with links to manage each. It opens by itself the first time you switch between them; dismiss it once and it stays dismissed everywhere

The NLMTools.com badge now appears on the home page bar too, with its own toggle under Settings → Account → Home page. It follows your notebook page setting until you change it. Hiding it is a Pro feature

The first-time choice between Tags and Collections is now made on every page, including the NotebookLM home page. Before, if you never opened the extension's Notebooks page you stayed on Tags for good. Existing tag users stay on Tags; new installs start on Collections
