prefer a "list" only display of notebooks

I have 63 notebooks. When I select the notebook panel option, it displays 24 notebooks in a "card" grid format. I prefer an directory list type format. I am one of the "old guys" who grew up when a one line list for each element was considered economical. Please provide a way (that other apps provide) so a single spreadsheet line type grid is displayed. I come into your app and know what I want. Don't force me to page through 3 pages to find the one entry. I am sure if you produced a 63 line listing it would be quicker to move to the next step in the task I am presuing. And you might provid a click type selection to open the element in your app to manage what I want to accomplish. You might also provide the total list in multiple pages that a "page down" or "page up" could be preformed by a click in a scroll bar. I don't want togo to the bottom of the page to do a paging operation.
